As a founding partner of the Columbia Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Russell serves as a frequent national consultant and medical expert in cases involving legal dispute. His practice focuses on the evaluation and non-surgical treatment of patients with spine related issues.

Garth S. Russell, MD is a Southern Arkansas native. He attended the University of Arkansas in Monticello until joining the United States Army at the end of World War II. After his military service, he returned to college at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. He remained in the state of Kansas for medical school and attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Russell continued his training with an internship at Wesley Hospital in Wichita and then moved to Columbia, Missouri where he completed his residencies in general surgery and orthopaedics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
