Dr. McCarthy is a 2012 graduate from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Western New York, and immediately drove cross country to fulfill her dream of working in Montana. Medicine and preventative care are her particular interest in the veterinary field, but she enjoys the variety of general practice. Kathleen grew up in Louisiana with Spanish Moss and gumbo, but she prefers the weather in Montana and loves to be surrounded by mountains.

When not caring for her furry patients, Kathleen can most often be found cooking, gardening, hiking and spending time with friends and loved ones, including her dog, Liam, and Theodore the cat.
