Dr. Michael Howard joined OrthoKnox in August, 2013. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He specializes in arthroscopic, reconstructive, and joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, as well as conditions affecting tendons and nerves. His other areas of clinical emphasis are the care of sports-related injuries and arthritis.

Dr. Howard earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Dr. Howard then attended a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
