A Nebraska native, Dr. Bruggeman attended The University of Nebraska – Lincoln for his undergraduate studies. He received his medical degree with high distinction at The University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following his degree completion, Dr. Bruggeman spent five years at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency. Before returning home to Omaha, he spent another year in Indianapolis, IN, completing a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery.

Dr. Bruggeman’s practice is focused on hand, shoulder and elbow conditions with a special interest in Worker’s Compensation cases. He has dedicated his practice to patient care and teaching. This includes taking care of the most difficult injuries in the region as one of the only Level 1 trauma providers in the area, treating major orthopedic injuries of all kinds.
