Dr. Hughes then completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Creighton combined program. Following residency, Dr. Hughes completed a Fellowship at the University of Texas, Houston, in Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Hughes has been in practice in Lincoln, since 1998. His specialty is orthopaedic surgery with a sub-specialization in foot and ankle surgery.

When out of the office, Dr. Hughes’ favorite activity is spending time with his wife, Tessa,
and children, Emerson, Tate, Drew and Tripp. His hobbies include playing basketball and reading.
