Dr. Lammie grew up in Western Pennsylvania with a deep connection to animals, as she collected strays and wildlife, tamed dogs, and spent hours most days riding horses though the farms and orchards of Butler County. She attended Penn State University for three years and was accepted to Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in a special combined degree program for exceptional students.
