Hello, all! My name is Dr. Jennifer Wellens and I joined the team in June 2015. I grew up in the very small town of Little Suamico, Wisconsin, located just north of Green Bay. I obtained my bachelor degrees in Human Biology and Animal Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2011 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2015. I am lucky to have my wonderful husband, Ben, and a smart and sassy Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix back home that goes by the name of Rusty. I am a true cheese and brat loving Wisconsinite through-and-through, being a devoted Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers fan. In my spare time I love to be outdoors, whether it be traveling, running, fishing, or hunting. I am incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity to begin my career in the Whitewater community, and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you, as well as your two-legged and four-legged family members!
