Dr. Amanda Canada (previously Dr. DeCerce) was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After
 graduating from Our Lady Of Lourdes Academy, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida to attend Florida State University. She graduated in 2009, earning a
 Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During her time at Florida State, she was an active member of the pre-vet club and helped organize local volunteer opportunities to assist animals in need. She also worked at a local animal hospital as a veterinary technician.
