Dr. Liz Grauer graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She spent the first 22 years of her career in emergency medicine, then after selling her emergency practice moved into shelter medicine from 2008-2012. During that time she managed to adopt 3 dogs and 3 cats from the SWW Humane Society.

She now enjoys part time work at ACVC and occasionally works relief at other practices in the area. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, wine tasting, traveling to tropical locales and volunteering with children’s programs at her church.
