A native of the Boston area, Dr. Murphy is passionate about providing the highest level of veterinary care to his patients. After receiving his undergraduate degree in botany from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, Dr. Murphy chose to pursue his dream of practicing veterinary medicine and received his DVM from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.

Dr. Murphy particularly enjoys the fields of internal medicine and dermatology. While the Boston area will always hold a special place in Dr. Murphy’s heart, in 2009 he and his wife, son and daughter made the move to warmer winters in Marietta in 2009 and they absolutely love it. Dr. Murphy and his family share their home with three dogs, three pythons and a blue tongued skink. When not caring for animals, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending his free time growing vegetables in his garden, woodworking and cultivating bonsai trees.
