Dr. Horton earned her doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH in 2008. She completed her surgical residency and fellowship at University Hospitals Richmond Heights Medical Center. Her one year post-residency fellowship concentrated in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma. She practiced just outside of Cleveland for 2 years before returning to Michigan. Dr. Horton’s special medical interests include reconstructive surgery, sports medicine and trauma. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Horton is Board Qualified in both foot and ankle surgery.Dr. Horton grew up in Springport, Michigan, a small farming community.  She received her bachelor’s degree at Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI.  Dr. Horton is happy to be living and practicing podiatry in her home state. She is married with one daughter and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, gardening and painting.
