Bartlomiej L. Nierzwicki, DMD, MD, PhD has received his dental degree with high honors from Boston University and his medical degree cum laude from University of Missouri-Kansas City. His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, as well as General Surgery Residency (PGY-1) were also completed at the University of Missouri. In addition, educated in the European tradition of maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Nierzwicki holds a doctorate in medical sciences, with emphasis on radiation oncology of the head and neck. He also completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Dr Nierzwicki was fortunate to begin his academic surgery career at the University of Missouri immediately following his fellowship training. He served three valuable years of service as Assistant Professor at University of Missouri-Kansas City Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as Residency Program Director involved in clinical and didactic instruction of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents.
