Dr. Adam Bennett is a Board Certified Family Practitioner, sub-specializing in Primary Care Sports Medicine. His areas of special interest are sports medicine, non-surgical musculoskeletal care, overuse injuries, and injury prevention. He is on staff at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and St. Joseph Hospital.

In addition to his responsibilities with Northwestern Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Bennett is a College Mentor and Assistant Professor at Northwestern Medical School and he is a co-author of two medical textbooks, Blueprints in Family Medicine and Family Practice Q & A. In addition, he serves as a team physician for U.S. Soccer’s Men’s and Women’s National Teams and the Chicago Bears. Previously, he has served as a team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks.

  • Felt rushed and not listened to…
    All he cares about is the number of clients he sees a day. I took a day off of work because of numbness in my hands and leg. (It was happening for months) He told me it was ulnar nerve compression and to do PT and come back in 3 weeks and maybe then we can run tests. I’m fairly young and the numbness in my hands and legs is scary. I called the office after and said I think something is wrong. Doctor just prescribed me steroids. I didn’t take them an talked to my primary care doctor. I

    Dr. Bennett came highly recommended to me by a friend when I was experiencing knee pain. I was ready for the truth of what was going on with my right knee. The office is quite large and impressive. They apparently treat major Chicago athletes, as pictures on the walls indicate.
