Dr. Malan is considered one of the true pioneers of fat derived stem cell therapies in the USA. In October of 2009, Dr. Malan was the first U.S. physician to utilize adipose or fat derived stem cells for soft tissue reconstruction. He has described his techniques and experience as an author in two medical textbooks as well as having presented at dozens of stem cell conferences worldwide. Hundreds of doctors from all over the world have traveled great distances to learn Dr. Malan’s techniques. Dr. Malan is an active educator, researcher, but also utilizes his experience to assist his patients.

Dr. Malan received his Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and continued his studies at the University of Arizona College of Medicine where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class in May 1993. He completed his residency at Walter Reed Army and Bethesda Naval hospitals in Washington, D.C. Dr. Malan is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Presently, Dr. Malan is an associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, founding member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians, member of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

    I had my smartlipo done and I love the way I look. I saw results right away. I only needed to take one day off from work. I would recommend this procedure to anyone. I would never go the traditional lipo route and risk having loose saggy skin. I can't believe it really tightened the skin. I think this is what Tara Reid had dine to fix the regular lipo she had. I am finding that stretching feels great and I think this is helping with the healing. I can only imagine how great it is going to look after
