Dr. Parker obtained his bachelor’s degree in both Biology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Highest Distinction and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.  While at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, he volunteered in multiple free dental clinics.  As a dental student, Dr. Parker also won the AAOMS Dental Student Achievement Award, the AAOMP Dental Student Achievement Award, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon – the national dental honor society.  He went on to graduate first in his class, with Honors.
