He attended University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, Lexington, Kentucky, graduating in 1989 with his D.M.D. degree. Dr. Morrison completed his residency and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas in 1993.Dr. Morrison obtained board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1996.

Went to get one tooth extracted, I lost 2

My regular dentist recommended the practice dr Morrison works with to get a cracked molar extracted. During said procedure with dr Morrison apparently somehow the tooth next to the one he was supposed to extract got completely broken. I woke up from surgery without any molars on my lower right side so basically unable to chew on that side. I left that office in tears with 2 teeth missing instead of 1, with a tooth in a little bag, completely traumatised. A very bad experience with this dentist for me

Review of Dr. Morrison

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. J. David Morrison, DMD who is one of three surgeons at this office. I was recommended to this place by a friend of a friend on Facebook and am now SO happy that I found them. I had one wisdom tooth, of several impacted teeth, that was dangerously close to the nerve in the jaw and Dr. Morrison is a specialist with these sorts of problems.
