Dr. Young completed a comprehensive fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery in 2000. Since then, Dr. Young’s orthopaedic practice has focused exclusively on the surgical care of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. Dr. Young treats a wide variety of problems, including traumatic injuries (fractures, dislocations, tendon and joint injuries, etc), athletic injuries, arthritic conditions, congenital differences of the hand, tendonitis, and compression neuropathies (such as carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome).
She is experienced at post-traumatic reconstruction of the upper extremity and takes care of people of all ages. She has written scientific papers and given numerous lectures on various topics in the field of hand surgery.
