Dr. Smith is a native of Baton Rouge and attended both LSU and LSU School of Dentistry. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Charity Hospital (LSU Division) in New Orleans where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.Dr. Smith’s private practice, Oral Surgery Service LLC., has evolved over the years to be presently centered on dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions and bone regeneration procedures. Along with his partner, Dr. PJ Walters, they preside over the Crescent City Study Club and Peer Practicum Study Club whose main objective is to assist the local dental community in keeping abreast of the dynamic technological advances needed to provide the best care for their patients.
