I spent most of my childhood in Reno, Nevada where I learned to love and thrive in the mountains and the high desert (learned to ski at 4 years of age and was an Eagle Scout by 13 years of age). The continued search for high quality education brought me to high school in Connecticut, college at Tulane University in New Orleans, an additional degree at the University of Idaho and then finally to the Caribbean for Veterinary school.
