Dr. Chris Leasure grew up in rural Washington County, Maryland. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in College Park where he received his BS in Biology, with honors. He went on to earn his DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Leasure completed a 1-year rotating internship in surgery, internal medicine and emergency & critical care at VCA-Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD.
