By the Grace of God, I made my decision to become a physician when I was in the 8th grade. This proved to be a blessing as I had a goal to remain focused on during my high school and college years. My experiences as a student athletic trainer for the University of Arkansas Razorback football team are what convinced me to become an orthopedic surgeon. My blessings continued when I was chosen to do my orthopedic internship and residency at the world-famous Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
I have enjoyed a wonderful practice since joining OSMO in 1990. Whereas treating sports injuries and replacing worn out joints has been very fulfilling, I get a great deal of satisfaction from treating fractures, which is the foundation of orthopedics.
