Dr. Bowersox is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He received a BS in molecular genetics and then a DVM degree from The Ohio State University in 1994. After completing a small animal medicine and surgery internship in Connecticut, he was an associate in general practice in northern Virginia. He then relocated to Arizona, where he completed his ophthalmology residency and was employed as a clinical ophthalmologist in Arizona and California for four years. In 2002, he joined VSCD as a partner and staff ophthalmologist.
