I was the second doctor to join South County Orthopedics in 1988. Spending most of my career here speaks volumes regarding my belief in our practice and all we do for patients. My professional interest is in joint replacement utilizing the latest proven technologies of minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures. These include hip resurfacing, knee resurfacing, total hip replacement and total knee replacement. I utilize the latest technology in hopes of achieving optimal results for patients of all ages. I attended URI as an undergraduate. After having taken a variety of courses, I eventually settled on pre-med. I found this major to be best suited to my interests.
I continued with medical school at Cornell University. I first became interested in orthopedic surgery while at Cornell. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Insal on my knee service as a student as well as working with Dr. Warren during my sports rotation. Both of these doctors were innovators of knee surgery.
