Dr. Lew graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a double major in Biology and Business Administration. Shortly thereafter, he attended dental school at Columbia University in New York City. During dental school, Dr. Lew was awarded a United States Health Professional Schoarship and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. Dr. Lew’s surgical training took place at San Antonio Military Medical Center, which is one of the U.S. Army’s premier medical centers dealing with Level I trauma, burn and combat injuries. During his residency, Dr. Lew participated in multiple research projects at the Institute of Surgical Research and is a Major General Joseph L. Bernier Research Award recipient. Dr. Lew is experienced in all aspects of our specialty which includes dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia, dental implant surgery, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery, TMJ disorders, trauma reconstruction and repair, head and neck infections and sleep apnea.
