Dr. Anke Bellinger completed her Anesthesia Residency and Pain Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2006. She continued to work as staff on the acute and chronic pain service with an interest in simulation for chronic pain related emergency scenarios. She has lectured at numerous national and international meetings on a variety of topics on chronic or acute pain management. Her clinical focus is chronic pain management. She conducts research about radiofrequency ablation. Since 2014 she has been working as the Medical Director of the Pain Clinic in the VA in Iowa City .
