Dr. Ashley Gaston was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA as one of three triplet sisters (Brittany, an assistant softball coach at UC Davis, and Lindsay, a nursing student at Emory University). Dr. Ashley grew up playing basketball, softball and track with her sisters at Roswell High School and went on to attending Appalachian State University on a Division-I softball scholarship with her triplet sister Brittany, graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology and Biology.

She worked with Crabapple Knoll and Veterinary Medical Center intermittently since the 5th grade from kennel tech to technician. With her inspiration and support from her father (Dr. Joe Gaston) and brother (Dr. Ryan Gaston), Dr. Ashley earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ross University located on the island of St. Kitts (St. Christopher) and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M University.
