Dr. Carlos A. Suarez, MD, FAAMA received his medical degree at the prestigious Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (LIMA – PERU) and was licensed in Peru in 2000 by the Peruvian College of Physicians. After completing and successfully approving the USMLE Medical Boards, he moved to Kingsport, TN in 2003 to attend East Tennessee State University in Kingsport where he completed his Family Medicine Residency program in 2006. This same year he became Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Suarez worked at North Bend Medical Center‘s Bandon (OREGON) Clinic from 2006-2012.

In 2010, Dr. Suarez became Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture by the American Board of Medical Acupuncture, and in 2011 he was made Fellow of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, the highest degree for the Medical Acupuncturist. Since his graduation, Dr. Suarez has completed hundreds of hours of CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) courses, keeping current with the latest medical information available. He will continue to keep current on the latest trends of Family Medicine, Regenerative Medicine, Alternative Medicine, Chinese Medicine and Medical Acupuncture.
