Dr. David Bernstein specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery at New Mexico Orthopaedics and primarily treats patients who have suffered sports-related injuries.  He has chosen to dedicate his practice to the care of hands, which play such an integral role in one’s life and interaction with the surrounding world.Dr. Bernstein engages his patients in the creation and implementation of their own plans of care, knowing that the success of the plan of care relies greatly upon their understanding of the diagnosis and treatment options available.
