Dr. Pretila is an enthusiastic proponent of Preventive and Integrative Medicine. She believes in treating the individual as a whole person, dealing not only with the physical but also the spiritual, environmental and psychosocial issues. As a Christian doctor, she is a fervent believer in the power of prayer and faith for health and healing.

Dr. Pretila received her medical doctor degree from Cebu City, Philippines. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Veterans Hospital and her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University, both in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Pretila had a solo practice in Internal Medicine in Scottsburg, Indiana for several years and observed that patients did significantly better when diet, exercise and nutritional supplementations were incorporated to their therapy.
