Dr. Stewart is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, with a focus on knee and shoulder injuries. A graduate of Colgate University and Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, he completed an orthopedic residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and a fellowship in Sports Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the past he has participated in caring for the New York Yankees, Real Salt Lake (Major League Soccer), Olympic-level winter athletes, and Columbia University Athletics.
Dr. Stewart strives to bring a compassionate, thoughtful approach to every patient encounter, and treats pediatric and adult patients with athletic and non-athletic injuries. He specializes in sports medicine, and is proficient in minimally invasive procedures for knee and shoulder injuries, including meniscus repair, ACL reconstruction, shoulder stabilization and rotator cuff repair.
