Dr. Niranjan Parekh received his M.D. degree from King George Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India. He immigrated to the United States in 1980 and joined Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein Hospital’s unified radiation oncology residency program in New York City where he served as Chief Resident. After completing his residency, he trained i8nder well known Dr. F. Chu, Dr. Batata, and Dr. L. Nisce as a Clinical Fellow at New York Hospital (Cornell University Medical Center). Dr. Chu has worked extensively on breast cancers, particularly those emerging after lumpectomy. Dr. Batata is well known for his work on prostate cancers.

Thereafter, he worked as a staff Radiation Oncologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. During this time, he also served as Assistant Professor for Seton Hall University.
