Dr. Craig Wagley was born in Salt Lake City, Utah but was raised in Port Neches, Texas. This is where he met his wife Pamela. He has six beautiful children Neil, Nicole, Alec, Austin, Jonathan, and Julianne.

He earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Dental School in 1993. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Wagley interned at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he completed a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
