Dr. Halko didn’t take the time necessary to find a diagnoses. He didn't look at my hands, and didn’t schedule any diagnostics – not even x-rays. Just said to try braces for a month and follow up. I’ve gone somewhere else and love my new doctor.

My google review was removed because it violated terms and my Mercy review was never posted. When I mentioned a procedure, Halko said that it was experimental and I showed him that McBride does it regularly and he said it is not the same thing. My current doctor at McBride confirmed it was the same. Then Halko tried to flatter me. I guess he thought flattering me would distract me from his incompetence. I bet he would never talk to men the way he talked to me.

Terrible bedside manner. Did not read the notes of the doctor that had seen me the week before. Had no idea that an elbow injury that was documented in Dr. Ruffins notes. I repeatedly expressed concern about tingling, numbness, and coldness in the fingers. Was repeatedly told it was OK. check mychart today and see that they put in the notes I had no numbness or tingling. Both doctors I’ve seen at this office have been highly unprofessional, and incorrectly documented my charts. I will seek a 3 opinion.

Dr. Halko has done 2 surgeries on my wrist. He is amazing at explaining the diagnosis and procedures.
