Mounzer Agha, MD, is the director of the Mario Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers at Hillman Cancer Center, and the clinical director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation of UPMC. He is visiting research associate professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Agha specializes in hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplantation.Board-certified in hematology and medical oncology, he received his medical degree from the Aleppo University in Syria. He completed his residency training at Pennsylvania State University and his fellowship training in Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Fred Hutchison Cancer Center and the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
