Orthopedic Physicians Anchorage (OPA) changed its name to Orthopedic Physicians Alaska in 2015. OPA is a group of orthopedic surgeons and other providers committed to delivering world-class medical care in an environment that is accessible, cost-efficient and friendly for both patients and their referring providers.

The OPA team includes several board-certified orthopedic surgeons, each working in concert with a certified orthopedic surgical physician assistant and other staff to give patients an individualized care team. OPA also features two board certified, fellowship trained rheumatologists and a physical medicine & rehabilitation specialist (aka, physiatrist). In addition, OPA’s six full-time certified athletic trainers serve numerous local youth sporting programs and events at no charge to prevent sports injuries and care for injured athletes.

Together, the OPA team offers comprehensive musculoskeletal services — always offering non-surgical options first and, when necessary, surgical treatment of the highest quality.
