Dr. Amber Hennenhoefer has been practicing spine and musculoskeletal medicine for the past 7 years prior to joining Southwest Spine and Sports in 2015. She grew up in Phoenix and got her Bachelor’s degree at Grand Canyon University in biology. She then followed in her grandfather’s footsteps and went to medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO.

She completed her combined internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Washington University in St. Louis. She was selected chief resident in her final year. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr Hennenhoefer Review

I was a candidate for spine surgery about 5 years ago when Dr Hennenhoefer, then working with Dr Stevens, discusses non surgical alternatives. Using diet and certain exercises, I am now 28 lbs lighter and Dr Stevens said he doesnt need to see me for 2 more years. It is well worth consulting and having supervision of a third party in these situations and I heartily recommend Dr Hennenhoefer!
