Dr. Bender Orthopedic is Terrible

Dr. Bender is a hostile and aggressive physician with no understanding of the patient-physician relationship. He takes no accountability for complications that arise once his patients leave the operating room and subsequently blames the patient if recovery does not meet his expectations. If questioned, Dr. Bender has an explosive temper that he isn't afraid to unleash on his patients or their loved ones. In one encounter I had with Dr. Bender, I was genuinely afraid he was going to physically attack me. Equally disturbing is that the company who employs him, Shady Grove Orthopedics, seems to be aware of his

I would recommend to others.

Was very upfront and explained and gave me options so I could make a better informed decision. Made me feel comfortable and confident going into surgery. Did not rush me out of the office and took time too explain my situation after having an MRI performed.
