We welcome Aparna Tamirisa, M.D. to our practice! Dr. Tamirisa is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician. After graduating from Internal Medicine Residency at Baylor College of Medicine she went on to become an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center – Houston. She has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. She is also passionate about targeting obesity due to its prevalence in society and its direct link to a myriad of other health problems. She offers comprehensive medical care including routine physical and well woman exams, which include mammograms and pap smears. With 8 years of experience in Internal Medicine, she looks forward to joining Dr. Renu to provide excellent patient care.
