Dr. Tolman graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. He earned his medical degree from The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tolman completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where he focused on Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal injuries.
During his time at Rush, Dr. Tolman served on the board of The American Academy of Physiatry and The Academy of Osteopathic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also created the first “hands on ultrasound” course specifically designed to train residents from multiple specialties in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Tolman completed his fellowship in Interventional Spine and Regenerative Medicine at The Center for Pain and Psychiatric Rehabilitation in Annapolis, Maryland.
