Dr. Stone is a board certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation doctor specializing in sports medicine, interventional spine procedures and general pain management. He graduated from medical school at the University of Virginia in 2009, where he was honored as the Bowman Scholar (given to the top medical student during clinical rotations, voted on by school faculty and attending physicians).

After completion of his intern medical year, he moved to Denver, Colorado where he completed his residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. After his time in Colorado, he moved once again to Arizona in the summer of 2013 to train under the supervision of the physicians at Southwest Spine & Sports for a one year fellowship position. He joined the group at AZ Spine Disc and Sport in September 2014 as the medical director for the facility.
