Alina M. Huang, M.D. attended the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Biochemistry and participated in the Roy and Diana Vagelos Scholar Program in Molecular Life Sciences. She then earned her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency and internship in Internal Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University affiliated with Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Huang joins Virginia Cancer Specialists after completing her fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. During her time there, Dr. Huang served as Teaching Fellow in Medical Oncology and Hematology, led lecture and group sessions focusing on hematology, and participated in medical oncology and hematology Grand Rounds.
