Dr. Andy Brien is a native of Mendenhall, MS. He is a board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, fellowship-trained, sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from Belhaven College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha & was awarded the Most Outstanding Orthopaedic Medical Student.

Dr. Brien completed Orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2008. During residency, he was selected to the Zimmer AOA Leadership Conference, and he also completed an AO International Trauma Fellowship in Klagenfurt, Austria. Following residency, he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
