Born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area, I attended Reed High school, and continued my education at the University of Nevada where I played soccer for the UNR Women’s Soccer Team. I have always had a love and passion for veterinary medicine and started working at the age of 15 for a local veterinary clinic within Reno where I worked for 8 years. I took a year off from school to spend time working and moved out to Palomino Valley to live on a ranch before applying to veterinary school.I was accepted to Colorado State University of Veterinary Medicine. While attending school I would often come back to Nevada to work at local hospitals and the shelter. I have become a strong advocate against BSL, and my heart belongs to my two Pitbulls and Poodle. Upon graduating in May 2015, I realized that I belonged in Nevada where I was eager to return to be close to family, friends and a community I adore.
