Dr. McArthur is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement complex revision hip and knee replacement, and hip preservation surgery. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City where he was awarded multiple research grants as well as the prestigious Lewis Clarke Wagner Resident Research Award. He went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. McArthur has published numerous peer reviewed articles and has presented both national and internationally on topics related to hip and knee replacement. He is a reviewer of current research for the Bone and Joint Journal, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, and the Journal of the Hospital for Special Surgery.
