Dr. Rothrock is adamant about not setting limitations for his patients.  “The sky is the limit for what patients can do and accomplish after surgery.  It is my duty and my passion to give them every opportunity to make whatever their goals are a reality.  That is why I continue to search for less invasive ways to perform surgery and speed recovery.”

  • best I have ever had
I had a total hip replacement. Dr. Rothrock gave me sufficient information about my surgery. He has written a book about the surgery. He was recommended to me by two other doctors. The surgery was took1 hour. I was up and walking the next day. He has an excellent staff of nurses. The care I received at Specialty Hospital of Sioux Falls SD was the best I have ever had. If I had to use the restroom I never had to wait for someone to help me. I highly recommend Dr.Rothrock as Orthopedic Surgeon.
  • I highly recommend him without any reservations.
My experience with Dr. Rothrock was nothing short of outstanding. He and his staff are professional and friendly, which makes the surgery experience much easier. I came back for my second hip (right hip first and left hip, second) because I have so much confidence in Dr. Rothrock.

I had hip replacement surgery in November, 2011. Dr. Rothrock uses an anterior incision which reduces the chances of dislocating the prosthesis post surgically compared to a posterior incision. It has been four years since the operation, and I have had no pain or other difficulties whatsoever. My golf game has also improved dramatically. I plan to schedule surgery for the other hip in January, 2016.
