I love what I do. I decided I wanted to be a surgeon at a surprisingly young age. As a kid growing up in Pawtucket I had a favorite uncle who was a general surgeon. He invited me to watch him in the OR when I was in middle school. I was extremely impressed with his skills. At that point in my life I loved to play sports, in particular basketball. After that one visit to the OR, I decided I wanted to combine my passion for sports with my newfound passion of surgery.

I am at what I think is the best orthopedic group practice in the state.I chose a group practice because I hoped it would be a collaborative environment where doctors with different interests, specialties and points-of-view, both medically and personally, could share and learn from one another. I’m happy to say that’s exactly what South County Orthopedics is all about.
