Dr. David Dycus grew up in north Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Dycus received his Bachelor of Arts from LaGrange College where he graduated at the top of his class with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. While at LaGrange College, Dr. Dycus received numerous awards and scholarships from the science department, along with the prestigious Waights G. Henry award, which is given to the most outstanding graduating senior of the university.
