Dr. Gower received both his undergraduate and medical school degrees from the University of Florida and went on to complete his internship, fellowship and residency in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In 2011, he brought his extensive experience and training to Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery.

He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. A member of several medical organizations including the Society for Neuroscience, the American College of Surgeons and the Research Society of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Gower is the author of 45 scholarly published articles.
