I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. I attended Nebraska Wesleyan and received my medical degree from the University Nebraska Medical Center. I then completed my orthopaedic residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Graduating from medical school in 1988, I came back to Lincoln and began practicing general orthopaedics. I currently specialize in the care and treatment of individuals with worker’s compensation injuries. I also focus on evaluations related to medical-legal issues and have taken specialized courses regarding these evaluations. I am certified in the evaluation of disability and impairment ratings from the American Association of Disability Evaluating Physicians.
