A Birmingham native, Dr. Dewey Jones IV has extensive experience treating adult and pediatric patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries including sports-related injuries, arthritis, and spine problems. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, his primary interest is in arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques of the shoulder and knee.

Dr. Jones graduated with a BS in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham (UAB) in 1995. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2000, which included trauma training in Davos, Switzerland, pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and caring for amateur and professional athletes at Froedert Sports Medicine Clinic.
